It was later announced that The Irresistible Forces would be defending the Women’s Tag Team Championships against Lyra Valkyria and Bayley, Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair, and The Bella Twins at WrestleMania 42.

Nia Jax reveals she got emotional following WWE title win

SmackDown star Nia Jax recently shared that she got emotional when she and Lash Legend became Women’s Tag Team Champions.

Speaking on the BTB podcast, Jax revealed that she got emotional after seeing Lash Legend capture her first title on the main roster. She noted that it was a beautiful moment to see the look on Legend’s face after they won.

“We’re the bada**es. We’re the heels. We’re. the j**ks. We’re supposed to stay in this stoic era, but I got super emotional… I’m watching Lash win the Tag Titles. Her first ever title in the WWE. I started to get emotional and I’m like, ‘Hold it together. Keep it together. You’re supposed to be a bada**.’ To see the look on her face hearing the 1-2-3 and then bringing us the titles, it was such a beautiful moment. I’m definitely never gonna forget that.” said Jax.

It will be interesting to see if Legend and Jax can retain the titles at WrestleMania 42.
