There’s no better hallmark of draft season than pre-draft visits. These meetings are a crucial part of the Packers’ pre-draft process, and it’s worthwhile to pay attention to who the Packers are bringing in for visits every year. There’s a good chance they’ll end up on the roster at some point.

However, the way the Packers have handled their pre-draft visits has changed over the years, especially recently. Under Ted Thompson, the Packers used their pre-draft visits more or less as recruiting trips for undrafted free agents. That is to say, most of the time, the Packers were spending their visits on guys who were not likely to be drafted.

That’s been increasingly not the case under Brian Gutekunst, especially last year, when the Packers spent by far the highest percentage of their visits that we’ve ever seen on top-100 players.

Obviously, we can’t know how that will play out this year until the picks come in, but it’s easy to guess that we’ll see another shift in the way the Packers use their visits this year and next for one big reason: the Packers have no first-round pick in 2026 or 2027. They’re probably not going to be spending many, if any, visits on players near the top of the draft board.

Nevertheless, we’ll be keeping a close eye on what the Packers do with their pre-draft visits. No matter who they’re bringing in, there’s a good chance they’ll end up in Green Bay. Stay up to date with the full list of reported visitors below.
