Since its inception in 2019, Toyota’s GR Heritage Parts project has reissued and reproduced over 300 parts for eight classic models. One of the lucky cars Toyota is supporting is the legendary A80 Supra. The automaker already offers an assortment of parts for the coupe, but later this year, it will offer owners the opportunity to buy a brand-new dashboard.
While the automaker used modern manufacturing methods and materials, the new Supra panel features the original grain orientation. Toyota reissued this part because dashboards, especially older ones, can crack, shrink, and split over years of exposure to sunlight.
The new dashboard joins other A80 Supra upgrades, including the instrument cluster surround, front bumper, headlights, and control arms. It even builds new heads and blocks for the AE86 Corolla Levin and Sprinter Trueno.
Toyota says this new A80 dashboard should be available this fall. The automaker produced the fourth-generation Supra from 1993 to 2002. Toyota is showing off the panel at this year’s Automobile Council, which kicks off on April 10.

Motor1’s Take: Anyone who loves older cars can understand the frustration a cracked dash can cause. It’s ugly, unappealing, and impossible to ignore, so it’s nice to see Toyota offering a solution that buyers know will fit just fine.
