There are growing reports that Rafael Leao’s latest tantrum has irritated Milan directors so much that they would be ready to listen if a suitable offer came in for his sale.

He was meant to become the key figure for the future of the club after signing a new contract, which made him the highest-paid player in the squad.

The idea was for him to become a leader and finally mature at San Siro, but considering he turns 27 in June and is showing very little sign of changing his bad habits, they are losing patience.

Leao dragged his heels during a substitution in the defeat to Lazio, so Mike Maignan ran over from the goal to the touchline in order to shove him physically off the pitch.

He then resisted an attempt from coach Max Allegri to give a reassuring hug, and now the Gazzetta dello Sport claims that he continued to vent his anger at teammate Christian Pulisic in the dressing room after the game.
