• Porsche has added WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca to its Porsche Track Experience.
  • The track becomes only the second dedicated US race venue in the program, joining Barber Motorsports Park.
  • The first customers ran laps on March 12, 2026.

The Porsche Track Experience (PTX) is one of the best perks of buying a performance car from Stuttgart—aside from the fact that you now own a sublime sports car, of course. The program lets customers unleash their cars on race tracks around the world, with professional driving instructors guiding them every step of the way.

The Porsche Track Experience already features several incredible circuits, from its Porsche Experience Center (PEC) courses in Atlanta and Los Angeles to legendary tracks like the Nürburgring and Spa. Now, an iconic American circuit is joining the list.

Porsche customers can now take to WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey, California, as part of the PTX program. It becomes just the second dedicated American race track in the program (excluding the PEC courses), joining Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama.

The President and CEO of Porsche Cars North America, said:

‘There is no better way to conquer the Corkscrew. Our longstanding PTX presence in Alabama has been a success for more than two decades, so it makes sense to launch a sister program in California.’

The first customers hit the track at Laguna Seca on March 12, 2026. This year marks the 52nd year of PTX globally and the program’s 26th year in the United States—another good excuse to go out and buy that 911.

Motor1’s Take: Letting customers experience their cars on a race track is one of the biggest perks of owning a performance vehicle. Porsche already offered some fantastic circuits through the PTX program; WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca gives owners even more reason to get excited.
