After the split, The Genius of The Sky is forging her own path to The Grandest Stage of Them All, and the company reportedly has plans for her. According to Bodyslam, SKY is reportedly set to face Asuka at The Showcase of the Immortals in Nevada.

The report further added that there’s support for Kairi Sane backstage, and it could turn the one-on-one match into a Triple Threat match at WrestleMania 42. All three stars have history, as they were part of Damage CTRL under the new regime, and it’ll be interesting to see what’s next for IYO SKY on the road to WrestleMania.

IYO SKY was feuding with Asuka and Kairi Sane on WWE RAW

Last year, The Kabuki Warriors backed IYO SKY when she was in contention for the Women’s World Championship. While Damage CTRL was disbanded a while ago, the three stars had each other’s back in the Stamford-based promotion until cracks began to form.

In September 2025, The Kabuki Warriors turned on The Genius of The Sky, and Rhea Ripley aligned with SKY on the red brand. The two eventually formed RHIYO on the main roster and spent months feuding with Asuka and Kairi Sane on Monday Night RAW.

Earlier this year, RHIYO won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship from The Kabuki Warriors. While the team lost the title in less than sixty days, it looks like SKY will reignite her past feud and could face Asuka or both at WrestleMania 42 in Nevada.
