On X, Rhodes reacted to his return to WWE against Rollins from WrestleMania 38 and posted a three-word message.

“A lucky man!” wrote Rhodes.

Check out Rhodes’ post on X:

Cody Rhodes revealed that returning to WWE was the easiest decision he had ever made

Cody Rhodes has achieved a lot of success since returning to WWE. He is already a three-time Undisputed WWE Champion after dethroning Drew McIntyre before WrestleMania 42.

Speaking in a previous backstage interview, Rhodes said that returning to WWE was the easiest decision he had ever made. He said:

“I was here six or seven years ago. That was my last WrestleMania as Stardust,” said Cody. “Although I had a good time, I knew I was out. I knew I had one foot out. I just did everything I could, I rattled every cage, I tried to change every rule in our entire industry. I tried to do all this and I had great partners and great people helping me along the way, but I really, truly never thought I would veer back here. When the time came, ‘Hey, do you wanna do this?,’ it was the easiest decision I’ve ever made.”

Rhodes will defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against Randy Orton at WrestleMania 42. The match was made official after Orton won the 2026 Men’s Elimination Chamber Match and Rhodes dethroned McIntyre.
