Serie A giants Juventus are growing confident about tying Dusan Vlahovic down to a new contract.

Some weeks ago, the possibility of his stay remained rather remote. The Bianconeri were struggling to meet his wage demands, with other clubs also failing to meet the signing-on fee demands for the Serbian.

Tuttomercatoweb’s Niccolo Ceccarini reports that there is growing confidence in Turin about a renewal. The Old Lady had a meeting with the striker’s entourage and it turned out to be quite positive, with both parties keen on a stay beyond this season.

There is on offer of €7 million on the table and this is very much in line with how much Kenan Yildiz earns. This is also likely to be the most Juve can pay, even if it is much less than what the striker currently.

A renewal is now likely, which is quite a u-turn from how things were not too long ago.
