Damian Priest had been teaming with Rhea Ripley for some time as the Terror Twins, even reuniting earlier this year to face Aleister Black and Zelina Vega. However, with Rhea now focused on WrestleMania, things have changed as Priest does not have a ready path to the biggest show of the year. However, WWE has quietly introduced a new team on SmackDown tonight that may be the way forward for him heading into WrestleMania: teaming with R-Truth.

With Ripley busy, Priest was not doing much heading into SmackDown this week, and the star was speaking to Nick Aldis when he was surprised by R-Truth.

Truth had apparently agreed to a tag team match with Priest against the General Manager. However, it was not just any match, but it was a Tag Team Turmoil match to determine the next contender for the WWE Tag Team titles.

Priest, reluctant at first, came around to the idea, and now the two are a team that WWE quickly brought together and may be the way forward for Priest at this time.
