The Spanish LaLiga has declared a retro matchday for Matchday 31. This weekend, the teams are set to take the field wearing retro jerseys from their clubs. According to the Spanish league, the retro matchday is intended to bring together the different generations of the clubs.

Although four LaLiga clubs, including Real Madrid and FC Barcelona, have announced that they do not wish to participate in this initiative, the proposal has been met with very positive feedback from some clubs and fans.
