WrestleVotes then reported that the Aus-Zilla was planned to win the contest, but WWE was forced to call an audible after his injury. Following this, the promotion uploaded the highlights of Jey winning the match on RAW on YouTube and the video was flooded with dislikes.

The video sits at over 25,000 dislikes at the moment, with many fans expressing their disappointment, and now Jey Uso has responded. Taking to his Instagram Stories, he uploaded a screenshot of the number of dislikes on his video and added a caption, laughing off the backlash.

“Stop. Ya’ll love me,” he wrote.

This isn’t the first time a Jey Uso video has seen a high number of dislikes. After winning the World Title at WrestleMania 41, he shared an emotional moment in the ring with his brother Jimmy as the two celebrated. WWE posted the clip on YouTube, and it garnered 23k dislikes compared to 10k likes.

WWE was forced to pivot in another direction after Bronson Reed’s unfortunate injury. The creative went with Jey Uso winning the match in place of the Australian star.

However, WWE legend Bully Ray was unhappy with Jey’s reaction after picking up the win. He claimed that the tag team champion looked visibly concerned for Reed and not enthusiastic at qualifying for the Elimination Chamber.

Ray criticized this, saying that this immediately told the fans that he was not supposed to win the match. He said Jey should have gone “crazy” because he got another opportunity to be in the main event of WrestleMania.
