February alone has now seen four separate partnerships confirmed in various areas of the men’s first-team squad, underlining the club’s ongoing growth both on and off the pitch.

From a wider strategic perspective, the agreement fits neatly into Manchester City’s broader focus on performance, wellbeing, and infrastructure development.

With player recovery, mental health, and elite preparation increasingly prominent within modern football, partnerships aligned to lifestyle and wellbeing are becoming ever more relevant.

Now, as announced by Manchester City on Monday, Silentnight have become the Club’s Official Sleep Partner, supplying The Medlock – a Radisson Blu Hotel under development within the Club’s entertainment destination – with products including mattresses and toppers.

The statement also revealed City, The Medlock and Silentnight will work together on marketing and products aimed at helping fans and guests ‘enjoy a better night’s sleep’, while Silentnight will feature within the Etihad Stadium and across digital and social assets.

Speaking on the partnership, Vice-President of Global Partnership Sales within the City Football Group, Kaitlyn Beale said, “Silentnight are a trusted and well-recognised brand in the UK, who share Manchester City’s commitment to innovation to deliver the highest standards of performance.

“We’re delighted to welcome the brand as an Official Partner of the Club and announce its integration within The Medlock. This announcement marks another key moment for the Club’s wider development plans, as we look towards the opening of the hotel later this year.”

Chief Marketing Officer at Silentnight Group, Ian Lambert added, “We’re proud to be working with Manchester City at an exciting time for the Club’s development and as the importance of a good night’s sleep for mental wellbeing and physical performance becomes better understood.

“Those staying at The Medlock – whether for sport, music, leisure or work – will be able to rest and recharge on products designed to the very best comfort and support.”

Silentnight now becomes the fourth new partner announced by Manchester City during February, following previous confirmations involving Lucozade Sport, BYD, and Revolut, highlighting a particularly active month for the club’s commercial department.

With developments spanning performance nutrition, automotive innovation, financial technology, and now sleep and recovery, City continue to diversify their partnerships in line with modern elite sport.

Attention will now turn to whether further agreements are announced before the month draws to a close, as the club shows no signs of slowing its off-field momentum.
