In honor of the Genesis Invitational's return to Los Angeles those affected by last year's wildfires, we're partnering with Steadfast LA to raise money and awareness of the ongoing rebuild across the city.
Last year, the PGA TOUR's annual stop in Los Angeles was abruptly canceled after multiple wildfires spread across the city. The tournament relocated to regional neighbor Torrey Pines for 2025, but this year it's back at its true home, Riviera Country Club.
As the TOUR prepares to re-engage its LA stop, the team at Dan on Golf wanted to do something to raise money, and just as important, awareness about the ongoing struggles of those affected by the fires. Large parts of the Palisades and Altadena are among the affected areas that still have a long way to go for a full recovery. Though the fires are no longer in the headlines, what's happened in its wake still continues to this day.
So, we reached out to Steadfast LA, an independent organization that's raising funds for a number of necessary projects across LA, including providing relief to those affected by the wildfires, and designed this tee shirt as a way to raise the funds and keep people's mind on the necessary repairs still pending.
The Palisades Golf Club doesn't exist in real life, not really. We created it as a signal for a community bonded by golf, but bigger than the sport. The Los Angeles golf community is one we're proud to be a part of, and our hope for our neighbors who had to deal with the devastation left by the fires is that the community around them—ourselves included—will continue to rally for them. This is the least we can do, but we know your $50 donation is going to the right place whether you ever wear this shirt or not (but, to be fair, we designed it to be worn proudly).
We hope you'll consider contributing to the cause, and join us in celebrating our favorite week in the golf out here in LA. We're so grateful to have to golf world flood our city and look forward to many more Genesis Invitational weeks, and watching the surrounding community stand back up along the way.
A portion of proceeds benefits the Steadfast LA Foundation. Donation equals sales proceeds minus Pro Shop Media’s cost of goods. Campaign runs 2/16/26–3/31/26. No minimum or maximum donation.
