Many fans and pundits have been anticipating Stone Cold Steve Austin’s return for this year’s Showcase of the Immortals. They are eager to see the Hall of Famer compete in one more match. On The Coach & Bro podcast, Tommy Carlucci and Jonathan Coachman talked about Austin possibly competing in another bout.

Carlucci said Steve Austin was unlikely to wrestle again due to health concerns. He added that the former WWE Champion could deliver promos and participate in segments, but his days as an in-ring performer were over.

“I don’t see Stone Cold [Steve Austin] getting in the ring working anytime soon. He doesn’t care about the money either. I think he’s pretty well set. I think he’s not the guy who [would say] “Give me twenty million, I’m going to get in the ring.” I don’t think, I think his health and physicality of his neck and everything, you know, maybe come down and cut a promo and ride the four-wheeler around and stuff like that. I could see him doing that. But his days of working in the ring and giving people Stunners are gone, man,” Carlucci said.

Carlucci’s analysis might be heartbreaking for fans who were expecting Steve Austin to wrestle again after his massive win over Owens at WrestleMania 38.
