Yep, the Los Angeles Rams superstar wide receiver is at NASCAR’s season-opening event. He’s not just there, either. He also gets to hop in a car with Kurt Busch.

Nacua is taking part in what NASCAR is calling the “Speed Seat Thrill Ride” before the Daytona 500 gets underway on Sunday afternoon.

“As a kid, we all craved that adrenaline rush of ripping a stock car around the World Center of Racing,” said NASCAR Vice President, Michael Verlatti, in a release. “We’ve witnessed Puka’s incredible speed on the football field, and now we’re going to see how that compares to being a passenger in a stock car on the high banks at the World Center of Speed.”

Nacua is coming off a season in which he led the NFL with 129 catches.

The older Busch brother will be behind the wheel. He hasn’t been in that spot at Daytona in any form since 2022.

Kurt Busch was the 2017 Daytona 500 champion and is a new inductee into the NASCAR Hall of Fame.

Nacua is certainly a dude who seems to enjoy himself throughout his life, and going fast in a race car around Daytona International Speedway should be a great time for him.

Maybe it’ll make him want to change a whole career path.

Probably not, though. Matthew Stafford won’t be letting Nacua go anywhere.
