The report also disclosed that it was determined that the former NXT Champion needed surgery after last week’s episode of WWE RAW. It was also noted that Breakker’s quick elimination in the Men’s Royal Rumble was supposed to begin his run to WrestleMania 42, but those plans have changed following his surgery.
Breakker was suspended by RAW General Manager Adam Pearce last month following a physical altercation between the two stars. The 28-year-old failed to capture the World Heavyweight Championship from CM Punk last month on the red brand. Punk will be defending the title against Men’s Royal Rumble winner Roman Reigns at WWE WrestleMania 42 later this year.
Bron Breakker claims a major WWE Superstar is terrible
RAW star Bron Breakker claimed that losing the Intercontinental Championship to Dominik Mysterio at WrestleMania 41 was the worst loss of his career.
Dirty Dom pinned his Judgment Day stablemate, Finn Balor, at The Show of Shows last year in a Fatal 4-Way match to win the Intercontinental Championship. In an interview with GQ, Breakker claimed it was the worst defeat of his career and added that Mysterio was horrible.
“Probably redo losing the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania to Dom Mysterio cause he is just terrible. I probably will never lose that bad for the rest of my career. No matter how long I wrestle, no matter whom I face, there’s probably not going to be a worse loss than that one,” he said. [H/T: Fightful]
Only time will tell when Bron Breakker will be cleared to return to action and if he will be able to compete at WrestleMania 42 in April.
