The 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season took some time to get up to speed, but it’s about time to open things up.

After a winter storm that dumped nearly a foot of snow on parts of North Carolina pushed the Clash at Bowman Gray back three days, teams will have a shorter turnaround before the annual extravaganza at Daytona.

That’s also a bit less time for Ryan Preece to revel in his victory in the ceremonial season opener, but he’ll happily take the momentum to Florida, where warmer temperatures await.

While the Clash qualifies as a soft opening every year, the action kicks into gear across every level of stock car racing once the scene shifts to Daytona. In addition to the Cup Series headliner, ARCA, the Truck Series, and the newly renamed O’Reilly Auto Parts Series will all be in action.

Here’s everything you need to know to watch the first full racing week of 2026.

After the weather-delayed Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray wrapped up Wednesday, drivers and their teams will be packing up and heading to Daytona for the official 2026 season opener.
