Travis Kelce was selected to the Pro Bowl squad for the 11th time in his career after another strong campaign with the Kansas City Chiefs. The four-time All-Pro first-team tight end played all 17 games for the Chiefs in the regular season. He registered 76 catches for 851 yards and five touchdowns. Kansas City, however, finished 6-11, missing the NFL playoffs for the first time since 2014.
Kelce was one of four players who were named to this year’s Pro Bowl squad. Defensive tackle Chris Jones, center Creed Humphrey and guard Trey Smith were all invited to take part in the festivities.

Kelce, however, opted to withdraw from the Pro Bowl Games. The 36-year-old did not provide an official explanation for his decision to skip this year’s games. Buffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid took Kelce’s place. Jones also pulled out ahead of the festivities, which took place on Tuesday in San Francisco, California.
Kelce made a major public appearance on Wednesday. He participated in the WM Phoenix Open Pro-Am golf tournament at Scottsdale, Arizona. The Chiefs TE made waves at the celebrity event, where he teamed up with golf superstars Scottie Scheffler and Brooks Koepka.

Kelce held his own among the array of talent on the golf course. In fact, the three-time Super Bowl-winning tight end came close to scoring a hole-in-one in the par-3 16th hole of the TPC Scottsdale golf course.
The Chiefs caught wind of Kelce’s attention-grabbing drive and just had to react.
“What can’t @tkelce do 🤯” the team posted on X.
Kelce finished the hole with a birdie after sinking his putt. This resulted in the Chiefs star winning the WM gold chain, which is awarded to players who perform exceptionally well on the iconic 16th hole of the course.

Kelce has certainly elevated his golf game through the years. He currently has more time to practice and improve during the NFL offseason. Kelce will also get to play all the golf he wants if he decides to retire.
