Remember the Nissan Sentra Nismo? It was a short-lived, mostly visual package that the company offered for just two years. Nissan no longer offers that option, but the passion for affordable fun lives in this special build. Meet the Sentra SE RS, which comes with more than just new wheels and Nismo-inspired graphics.

The Sentra SE RS comes from car builder Nick Scherr, who shared the vehicle on Instagram earlier this week. It has black 18-inch Nismo LM-RS6 wheels, a Nismo catback exhaust, and an adjustable coilover suspension. It also has a unique grille.

Scherr said in his post, “My goal is to bring excitement to the already bold 2026 Sentra while allowing customers to buy this right off the showroom floor.” The example he shared is for sale at Pinnacle Nissan in Scottsdale, Arizona, with more to come.

The package costs $6,995, including installation. It requires the new Sentra SR, which starts at $26,245. Nissan offered an official Sentra Nismo in 2017, giving the car a tuned suspension and a stiffer body. The automaker also offered a six-speed manual for the car.

The package doesn’t include any engine upgrades, with the 149-horsepower 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine powering the Sentra SE RS. A continuously variable transmission that powers the front wheels is the only gearbox. But hey, at least it looks cool.

Motor1’s Take: Nissan might have killed the Sentra Nismo after 2019, but there is still a passionate group who embrace affordable cars that are still fun. It might not have a manual, but an upgraded exhaust and suspension can go far in improving the driving experience, and now you can enhance your Sentra.
