Currently, she has a Legends contract with WWE, and recently, during an appearance on TMZ Sports’ Inside The Ring, she made a surprising revelation. Lana opened up about her run-in with the law on her 25th birthday when she was driving to Florida State University.

“Oh my god, this is a crazy story. I’ve never said this publicly. This is for sure. So when I turned 25, I lived in Atlanta, Georgia. I was driving down to Florida State to re-audition because I had one semester left, and I was just so young and idiotic. On my birthday, I was speeding. I was going 91 in a 75 area. Talk about stupid. My tags were expired. My light was out. And then on top of it, in the state of Georgia, I’m smoking weed, which is illegal, right? I got pulled over. They’re like, ‘It smells like weed.’ And I’m like, ‘I’m smoking weed. I’m so sorry,’ she mentioned.

She added that she went to jail, and seeing the condition of the inmates made her realize how lucky she has been.

“So I went to jail. I’m 9 hours from Nashville at this point in Georgia, and my dad and my mom just let me sit there for three days. And honestly, this was the greatest moment in my life because I became way more grateful because there are women in this jail for over a year, and you only go outside for one hour a week,” she added.

Lana revealed her goal in WWE

During her tenure in WWE and AEW, Lana has featured mostly as an on-screen manager for certain wrestlers. However, her ambitions go beyond just being a ringside figure.

In an interview with Ring The Belle, she revealed that she wants to be a general manager in pro wrestling. She stated that she has written about this goal in her journal.

Female authority figures are nothing new in WWE, with various names having played the part in the past, including Vickie Guerrero, Stephanie McMahon, and AJ Lee.
