This week’s 2026 American Express was just the second tournament of the 2026 PGA Tour season, and it didn’t disappoint. World No.1 Scottie Scheffler dueled with several star players on Sunday with a lot of money on the line. In all, players were fighting for their share of the huge $9.2 million purse.
That’s a ton of dough, especially if you’re an 18-year-old rookie like Blades Brown. Brown thoroughly impressed golf fans this week, keeping pace the Scheffler throughout. His biggest highlight came on Friday, where he just missed shooting a 59, settling for a 12-under 60 instead.

But plenty of other proven PGA Tour stars were in the running as the tournament reached its climax over the weekend. That includes 54-hole leader Si Woo Kim.
Other popular players put together promising starts to the season, including Rickie Fowler, Jason Day and Max Homa.
But how much money will each player take home for their troubles? The winner gets a hefty $1.656 million, with second place also walking away with over $1 million. Once the tournament officially ends, the American Express payout information below will be updated with players’ names.
