WWE Superstar Zelina Vega has shared a social media update unveiling her new look. The 34-year-old joined forces with her real-life husband, Aleister Black, earlier this month.
On the latest edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Vega accompanied Black to the ring as he answered Ilja Dragunov’s WWE United States Championship Open Challenge. She tried to help her husband win his first title on the main roster, but he got distracted by Damian Priest walking out, allowing The Mad Dragon to floor the challenger with the Torpedo Moscow to retain the gold. The Archer of Infamy attacked Aleister Black after the match until Vega stepped in and helped her husband run away.
Zelina Vega recently took to Instagram stories to post a picture of herself showing off her new look. The SmackDown star has changed her hairstyle, ditching her two-tone look and replacing it with a platinum blonde shade.

Ex-WWE writer pointed out a major issue with Zelina Vega’s sudden character change
During the October 17 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, WWE aired a pre-recorded promo video featuring Black and Vega. The couple referred to themselves as a necessary evil that would restore balance and order to the wrestling world.
Former WWE head writer Vince Russo pointed out a major flaw with the promo. Speaking on a recent episode of BroDown with host Mac Davis, he noted that the former Women’s United States Champion played the character of a proud Puerto Rican for three years before the sudden change into evil. The veteran opined that the writers were not paying close attention.
“So when they say sh*t, I literally for a minute try to run it through. So Zelina Vega says this has always been part of the plan. You were running around with the Puerto Rican flag for three years. Like that was part of the plan? This is what I’m talking about. I’m watching the show. So, I know I would never write that line because she was running around with the Puerto Rican flag for three years. So are you telling me the person writing the show does not know that?” Russo said.
Aleister Black and Zelina Vega are likely to continue their feud with Damian Priest. It will be intriguing to see what plans WWE has in store for the wrestling couple once the rivalry with the former World Heavyweight Champion runs its course.
