It’s Day 2 of Ryder Cup week and fans are allowed on the grounds at Bethpage Black for the first time on Tuesday. The box office opens at 7 a.m. ET, the gates open at 7:30 a.m. ET fans can be on the course until 6 p.m. ET.

The first thing they’ll see on the golf course is an 18-hole practice round for the European team, which starts on the first tee at 9:30 a.m. ET. At 10:30 a.m. ET, the Americans will start a nine-hole practice round on the first tee (the U.S. played 18 holes on Monday already).

Ahead of the on-course action are a series of Team USA interviews with six players and captain Keegan Bradley all taking turns at the mic. Euro captain Luke Donald will also hold a news conference on Tuesday.

2025 Ryder Cup schedule

Competition at the biennial bash between a 12-member American squad against a 12-member European team starts Friday. There are morning foursomes and afternoon fourballs on the first two days. Then, the event features 12 singles matches on Sunday.

Ahead of the competition days are practice rounds as well as a series of pre-event media availabilities that started Monday and go through Thursday. Also Thursday: the opening ceremony, which includes the announcement of the Friday morning matches.

Where is the 2025 Ryder Cup?

The Black Course at Bethpage State Park is the host venue. It previously hosted two U.S. Opens and a PGA Championship. It was recently awarded the 2028 KPMG Women’s PGA as well as the 2033 PGA.

Ryder Cup format

The Ryder Cup uses three formats over the three days of competition: foursomes (also called alternate shot), fourballs (also known as better ball) and singles. There are morning foursomes and afternoon fourballs on Friday and Saturday. Eight of the 12 players on each side will compete in those matches. On Sunday, it’s singles. All 12 players will compete in these 1-on-1 matches.
