The situation has been left at a stalemate, and it now remains to be seen whether Inter will come back in with a new offer.
According to Thursday’s reports from Corriere dello Sport, Inter are still considering coming in with a new bid for Lookman, their priority transfer target in attack.
Wednesday’s report indicates that there are two ways Inter are prepared to improve on their recently rejected €45m offer.

Option one is to increase the offer to a total package worth €50m, of which at least €45m will be in fixed fees.
The second option for Inter is to raise the total cost of the operation up to around €46m or €47m and also offer Atalanta a young U23, Primavera or academy talent in the deal, which would also effectively boost the total cost up to around €50m.
