Shane van Gisbergen earned his third win of the NASCAR Cup Series season in the Toyota/Save Mart 350 on July 13 at Sonoma Raceway.

With SVG winning, not a lot changed along the playoff cutline. Bubba Wallace remained just ahead of Ryan Preece for the final playoff spot, extending his cushion from two points to three. Kyle Busch cut into his cutline deficit, now 37 points behind Wallace with six races remaining.

William Byron extended his regular-season points lead by one ahead of teammate Chase Elliott.

The final six-week stretch in the regular season begins next week at Dover.
