Ryan Blaney on locking into NASCAR playoffs, all Penske drivers with wins in 2025
Ryan Blaney describes the benefits of all three Team Penske drivers being locked into the NASCAR playoffs with wins in the 2025 Cup season.
- Chase Briscoe won the NASCAR Pocono Race, his first win of the season and first since September 2024.
- Briscoe led a race-high 72 laps in the rain-delayed Great American Getaway 400 at Pocono Raceway.
Chase Briscoe won for the first time this season in the NASCAR Pocono race on June 22. His last win came at Darlington on Sept. 1, 2024. He now has three career victories.
Briscoe, trying to save fuel late, held off Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Denny Hamlin in the The Great American Getaway 400 NASCAR Cup Series race, which was delayed two hours by weather, at Pocono Raceway.
It marked the ninth time this season Briscoe has finished in the top 10 in the No. 19 Toyota Camry. He was seventh last week at Mexico City. Briscoe has been on the pole four times and started sixth at Pocono.
Briscoe led 72 laps, the most of any driver in the field, and Hamlin, who took last week off for the birth of his son, led the second-most at 34.
Briscoe won an Xfinity race at Pocono in 2020.
