McIlroy settles after two double bogeys in first three holes

It looked like McIlroy was going to play himself out of the weekend before he even made it to the turn. A pair of double bogeys on the par 4 No. 1 and par 4 No. 3 left him reeling, but McIlroy has responded with four consecutive pars.

He needs to start sinking some birdies and continue gaining momentum.
