The Giants are bringing back punter Jamie Gillan for the 2025 season, agreeing to a three-year deal worth up to $10.2 million, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.

The new deal is worth an average of $3 million per season, with a total of $4 million guaranteed, and can reach the $10.2 million with incentives, according to ESPN’s Jordan Raanan.

Gillan, 27, averaged 43.7 yards per punt with a 40.5-yard net average over 13 games in the 2024 season. 48.2 percent of his 56 punts last year were downed inside the opponent’s 20-yard line — a career-best.

The “Scottish Hammer” has been New York’s punter for the past three seasons after spending the first three years of his NFL career in Cleveland.

His best season came during his first with Big Blue in 2022, when he averaged 46.8 yards per punt over 17 games and 74 punts.

Gillan was set to become an unrestricted free agent next week when the new league year begins at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 12.
