It was called a calf injury during the game. After the game ended, coach Mike Tomlin had a different description of the injury suffered by cornerback Joey Porter, Jr.
Tomlin told reporters that Porter has a knee injury.
There were no further details. Tomlin said he expected to have more on Sunday, in his next session with reporters.
The Steelers already were missing safety DeShon Elliott on defense. Offensively, they’ve played three straight games without receiver George Pickens.
While a playoff berth has been clinched for Pittsburgh, the AFC North title will come down to the next two weeks. The Ravens face the Texans in Houston and host the Browns. The Steelers host the Chiefs and Bengals.
