WWE Superstar Dominik Mysterio recently tried to switch sides and get back with Rhea Ripley after she defeated Liv Morgan to become the new Women’s World Champion. While Mami sent him a strong no with a low blow and a Riptide, The Judgment Day may not be so kind towards Dom. Moreover, there’s a chance that AJ Styles could replace the 27-year-old in the heel faction.
Styles is a former two-time WWE Champion who has held the United States title three times and the Intercontinental and Tag Team titles once. The Phenomenal One was last seen on SmackDown on October 5, 2024, in a match against Carmelo Hayes. Although AJ had freshly returned from a break, he was injured during the match, resulting in Melo picking up the win via referee stoppage.
Following this, AJ Styles has been out for a long time, and not much has been heard from his camp. But there’s a chance WWE could be reserving him to replace Dominik Mysterio in The Judgment Day. Dirty Dom didn’t just try to betray Liv Morgan on RAW’s Netflix debut, he also recently helped Gunther retain the World Heavyweight Championship against CM Punk.
Since no other member of the heel faction was with him, it is safe to say that Dom made the decision to help The Ring General on his own. This was strange since Gunther is currently an adversary of his and Finn Balor’s. Thus, the purple and black faction could lose faith in Dom and kick him out.
Moreover, The Phenomenal One could return as the heel who had pushed Cody Rhodes to the limit in two championship matches. Since Styles is also a former member of The Bullet Club, he can also help The Judgment Day by bringing out a more amicable side of Balor. While this is a possible direction in which the story can move, all of this is speculation so far.
Dominik Mysterio may ditch Liv Morgan to date a new WWE Champion
It didn’t take Dominik Mysterio a long time to try to get back with Rhea Ripley as soon as she became the new Women’s World Champion. Notably, he was previously with Mami while she was the champ, but he betrayed her at SummerSlam 2024 to date the newly crowned champion, Liv Morgan.
Thus, it can be said that Dirty Dom just wants the status of being paired with a world title holder. Interestingly, he could ditch The Miracle Kid and fulfill this desire by getting together with Tiffany Stratton. The Buff Barbie has previously shown romantic interest in Dom and also recently became the new WWE Women’s Champion by cashing in her Money in the Bank contract on Nia Jax.
This would further Dominik Mysterio’s heel character, who is already hated a lot by the fans. He could also help Tiffy safeguard her title reign as she would defend it at upcoming major events like the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania 41. It will be interesting to see what lies in the future for Dom.
