In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Finlay has shared his first message since returning to television. He also posted an image with Birthright, alongside Regal.

“.well, who would have thought! ⁦ @WWENXT ⁩ just changed. You need this, yet you recoil from it,” Finlay tweeted.

It’s unclear if Fit Finlay and William Regal are going to be a mainstay on NXT as managers for Birthright. For those unaware, Finlay’s son is Uriah Connors, while Regal’s son is Charlie Dempsey.

Lexis King is the son of Brian Pillman, and Arianna Grace is the daughter of Santino Marella. Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo is engaged to Grace in real life, making him Marella’s future son-in-law.

Why did David Finlay choose AEW over WWE?

There were rumors a few weeks ago that WWE was interested in Fit Finlay’s older son, David Finlay, who made his name in NJPW. David became a free agent and was courted by several promotions.

He would make his debut on March 4 at Dynamite. He attacked Orange Cassidy and Darby Allin and joined forces with Clark Connors and Gabe Kidd to form the stable called The Dogs.

But why did David choose AEW rather than join his father and younger brother? According to a report from Bodyslam+, the biggest company in the world wanted David to start on NXT rather than the main roster.
