#5. Continuing to portray Jade Cargill’s faction dominantly

B-Fab and Michin faced a reunited Rhiyo this past week on WWE RAW. IYO SKY was able to roll up B-Fab to get the win. However, the post-match angle featured Jade Cargill making a rare appearance on RAW and outnumbering the babyfaces.

Rhea Ripley was held back by Cargill’s teammates as SKY was taken out by the champions. Fans are well aware that the former Tag Team Champions can easily dominate Michin and B-Fab. However, letting them have the upper hand was the right decision, building the tension for Rhea Ripley’s Women’s Championship match at WWE WrestleMania 42.

#4. Bringing Rey Mysterio back for WrestleMania 42

The Master of the 619 finally made his return to WWE after being sidelined for months with a rib injury. It was initially expected that he would face Gunther at The Show of Shows this year. But the Ring General will now be facing Seth Rollins on behalf of Paul Heyman.

Mysterio, on the other hand, will be participating in the Intercontinental Championship ladder match, joining several other exciting stars such as Je’Von Evans, Dragon Lee, and Penta. It would have been a huge miss for the Hall of Famer to be forced out of two consecutive editions of the premium live event in Las Vegas.

However, including him in one of the more exciting matches of the night was the right move by Triple H instead of letting him stay on the shelf.

#3. Having El Grande Americano campaign to participate in the ladder match

The highly anticipated El Grande Americano vs. The Original El Grande Americano is not happening at WrestleMania by the looks of things. WWE is instead saving it for a future AAA event, and Ludwig Kaiser’s version of the character is now campaigning to enter the Intercontinental Championship ladder match.

He cut a promo during the Netflix ad break with Los Americanos, while being interviewed by Jackie Redmond. The three faced Je’Von Evans, Penta, and Dragon Lee in a six-man tag team match on RAW, with the babyfaces picking up the win.

Although El Grande wasn’t pinned, it has seemingly slowed down his quest to be included in the match. Perhaps he could join the match on the go-home edition of WWE RAW to shock the fans and shake up the card at the last minute. Kaiser has been incredible as Americano, and it would be a huge miss for him not to be featured in any capacity at the upcoming premium live event.

#2. The Brock Lesnar-Oba Femi segment and having it as the main event of RAW

Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi main-evented WWE RAW with a contract signing segment scheduled for the show. However, it ended in complete chaos, as contract signing segments usually do in the Stamford-based promotion.

Security had to intervene after Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar chose to avoid speaking and get right to the action. The two came to blows, and the former NXT Champion seemingly had the upper hand in the brawl before they were separated by a swarm of security personnel.

Triple H has done an incredible job building up this match, and it has a main-event feel to it despite being the closing bout of any of the nights. What’s important now is that the match lives up to the hype and is not a squash match, as is usually the case with most Brock Lesnar matches.

Both competitors have the physical prowess to deliver a five-star match, and it should be booked that way instead of letting either Oba or Lesnar make quick work of their opponent.

#1. Addressing the Pat McAfee situation

CM Punk came out to the ring to cut a promo all by himself, hyping up his title defense against Roman Reigns in the main event of Night Two. However, things took a dramatic turn when he started taking shots at Pat McAfee while at ringside.

Fans have been rightfully disappointed with the involvement of the former RAW commentator in the Cody Rhodes-Randy Orton feud. His inclusion feels forced, and Punk was once again the man to rebel against the decision made by the higher-ups to include McAfee.

He clearly asked McAfee to go away, and lower the ticket prices for The Show of Shows, winning over the crowd. Moreover, Michael Cole also condemned the actions of his former broadcast colleague, adding more weight to the angle and making it even more intriguing.
