This is perhaps the most logical name on the list. Gunther has transitioned from being The Ring General to Career Killer since last year. He has been tearing down young stars and legends in the ring, establishing himself as a dominant competitor.

There have been speculations about Gunther sharing the ring with Brock Lesnar. Given this, Lesnar’s open challenge at WrestleMania 42 would have been a perfect opportunity for the creative team to give fans the match they want to see. Given this, Evans was also a better choice for Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 42. A victory over The Beast Incarnate at ‘Mania would have quickly pushed the star into the main event scene.

Seth Rollins is the last name on the list. He has a history with Brock Lesnar in WWE. It looks like the duo was about to exchange blows in the ring on the latest episode of RAW before Oba Femi interrupted the promo. The Visionary would have been a better pick for Lesnar if he had been cleared to compete before WrestleMania 42.

Moreover, their last encounter at The Show of Shows was tainted with a low blow by Seth Rollins. This year, however, would have been an ideal chance for Rollins to defeat The Beast Incarnate fairly and cleanly at The Show of Shows.
