With that said, let’s look at these WWE Superstars who would’ve been a better choice for The Beast Incarnate at WrestleMania 42.
#4. Penta
Over the years, it appears that Brock Lesnar works better with smaller opponents. Contrary to the belief that he does not bring young stars to the limelight, The Beast Incarnate has, at times, put young superstars over.
With this in mind, Penta would have been a better choice than Oba Femi. The Mexican wrestler has gained a lot of momentum on Monday Night RAW. He has shown he’s a fighting champion by successfully defending the Intercontinental Championship every week on the show since winning the title from Dominik Mysterio.
Booking Penta to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 42 would have given the global juggernaut a perfect opportunity to further elevate his career.
#3. Gunther
This is perhaps the most logical name on the list. Gunther has transitioned from being The Ring General to Career Killer since last year. He has been tearing down young stars and legends in the ring, establishing himself as a dominant competitor.
There have been speculations about Gunther sharing the ring with Brock Lesnar. Given this, Lesnar’s open challenge at WrestleMania 42 would have been a perfect opportunity for the creative team to give fans the match they want to see. If that had happened, it would have garnered much excitement among the WWE Universe.
#2. Je’Von Evans
Je’Von Evans has gained a lot of momentum since his arrival on the main roster. He has secured wins in most of his matches on RAW. He even defeated Gunther and Dominik Mysterio to qualify for the Men’s Elimination Chamber Match.
Given this, Evans was also a better choice for Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 42. A victory over The Beast Incarnate at ‘Mania would have quickly pushed the star into the main event scene.
#1. Seth Rollins would have been a better opponent for Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 42
Seth Rollins is the last name on the list. He has a history with Brock Lesnar in WWE. It looks like the duo was about to exchange blows in the ring on the latest episode of RAW before Oba Femi interrupted the promo. The Visionary would have been a better pick for Lesnar if he had been cleared to compete before WrestleMania 42.
Moreover, their last encounter at The Show of Shows was tainted with a low blow by Seth Rollins. This year, however, would have been an ideal chance for Rollins to defeat The Beast Incarnate fairly and cleanly at The Show of Shows.
