Last week’s opening saw Jey Uso getting stretchered into an ambulance. With a lot to worry about, Nick Aldis can do the next four things on SmackDown.

#4. Finally put an end to the Wyatt Sicks/MFTs feud

Uncle Howdy beat Solo Sikoa last week on SmackDown. He briefly regained possession of his coveted lantern, only for the MFTs to attack him and take it back. Howdy reclaiming the lantern should have been the end of the feud.

Aldis mentioned focusing on the WWE Tag Team titles last week, so they could get a new contender. That should be the direction heading into WrestleMania.

Since Sikoa still has the lantern, the never-ending feud will continue. Aldis should demand the lantern back so this feud can finally go away.

#3. Attempt to sign Oba Femi to SmackDown

Oba Femi is still a free agent even a month after competing in the Royal Rumble. He’s appeared on both RAW and SmackDown, facing the Miz and Kit Wilson over the last two weeks.

He confronted Rusev on RAW, and the two will square off next week. Since he’s been a focal point lately, Aldis could up his efforts to add the former two-time NXT Champion to the blue brand.

#2. Make Jade Cargill vs. Rhea Ripley official

Rhea Ripley will be in a title match at WrestleMania for the fourth straight year. She fell to IYO SKY in a triple threat last year. With Cargill’s mediocre reign as WWE Women’s Champion, The Eradicator’s fortunes could change in Las Vegas.

The two women have traded barbs on social media, so a face-to-face confrontation is likely. Aldis could either mediate that in-ring showdown or orchestrate the contract signing for their blockbuster match at WrestleMania.

#1. Appoint a special enforcer/referee for Rhodes vs. McIntyre

Unless he decides to officiate things himself, Aldis could appoint a special enforcer or special referee for the heated showdown between Drew McIntyre and Cody Rhodes.

The two rivals have faced off numerous times since last fall, with the title changing hands in January. Another title switch ahead of the Show of Shows would devalue the title.

To curtail any interference or chaos, Aldis could have Jacob Fatu or a different star handle referee duties.
