During a recent edition of the PWInsider Q&A, it was reported that The Celtic Warrior was currently recovering from his injury, and there were no updates on when he would return to the ring. This all but confirms that the 3-time WWE Champion will likely miss WrestleMania 42.
Sheamus has changed his look amid his WWE absence
Sheamus’ wife, Isabella Revilla-Farrelly, took to Instagram in January 2026 to reveal that her husband had shaved off his beard.
She also mentioned that she had to hide his face on her Instagram because of this change. Revilla-Farrelly also provided an update on her personal life.
“Life lately: • my husband shaved his beard, and now I have to hide his baby face with emojis like an Instagram ‘mama bear’ hiding her baby 😭• I’ve been cooking! Sheamus’ booking hasn’t been the best in recent times. The legend has been going after the Intercontinental Championship (the only title missing in his career) for quite some time. However, despite competing for the gold several times and putting on some ‘bangers’ inside the ring, he has failed to capture the gold.
