Gunther brought Jey Uso’s 51-day World Heavyweight Championship reign to an abrupt and decisive end last week on Monday Night RAW. By causing his opponent to pass out in the middle of the ring, he won the title the second time.

The Ring General reigns supreme over Monday nights now that he has regained control of the gold. His first actions as the new champion will set the tone for his reign, as his presence commands respect.

Here are three things Gunther can do on this week’s WWE RAW.

#3. Victory celebration

Gunther is not interested in flashy celebrations or theatrics. His victory celebration will be a sober affair, marked with precision and purpose. The ring, swathed in Imperium’s signature red and black, will reflect the imposing presence of Imperium, accompanied solely by Ludwig Kaiser, who has curiously been missing for some time now.

Gunther will deliver a fiery proclamation, declaring his win as the return of order and a cleansing of the championship’s legacy. He will make a mockery of the “soft” champions who came before him and promise to rule with control and discipline. If Kaiser does appear by his side again, hinting at a renewed alliance, the champion could reassert their control and reignite their dominance over Monday Night RAW.

#2. Challenge Goldberg

With his authority reasserted, Gunther can turn his attention to building his legacy. To the shock of the WWE Universe, he could grab the microphone and directly address WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg.

Citing a desire to face a true powerhouse and erase the memory of what he considers a “circus act” of a bygone era, he could challenge the WCW legend to a fight. At the upcoming Saturday Night’s Main Event, Gunther can officially compete against the former two-time Universal Champion.

This challenge would be framed not out of respect, but as a duty to extinguish the last remnants of a generation he deems unworthy, setting the stage for a blockbuster confrontation.

#1. Face Mr. MITB Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins

Every champion faces a constant threat from the presence of a Money in the Bank contract holder. Gunther, a master strategist, is someone who would seek to neutralize this threat proactively.

He might invite Seth “Freakin” Rollins, this year’s Money in the Bank winner, to the ring. Gunther could use psychological warfare rather than a physical one. Rollins’ ambition would be praised, but Gunther would question his target, suggesting that taking advantage of him would be a mistake that would end his career.

He would then pivot, planting a seed of an idea: Why not use the contract on SmackDown’s Undisputed WWE Champion, John Cena? Rollins previously had a rivalry with Cena, and now a “heel vs. heel” would be great news for the fans.
