The go-home edition of SmackDown before the Showcase of the Immortals is set to take place in San Jose at the SAP Center on April 10. Ahead of the show, on X (formerly: Twitter), McAfee once again boasted how Randy Orton will be saving wrestling for the future generation by beating The American Nightmare at the Granddaddy of Them All.

He also claimed that The Apex Predator will not only win his 15th title but will also become the man who saved his family’s business. McAfee went on to hype the Orton vs. Rhodes match, ensuring that WrestleMania Saturday would be the most historic night in the history of the sport.

The color commentator ended his message by revealing that tomorrow night, on SmackDown, he has a “MASSIVE SURPRISE” to announce, for which fans would thank him and Orton.

That being said, in this listicle, we will predict three potential massive surprises Pat could reveal on the blue brand:

#3. The Attitude Era legend is the real mastermind

Since McAfee has been revealed as Orton’s mystery caller. The majority of fans are disappointed and feel that the Stamford-based promotion could have done better, as they had better names to be the mystery caller.

During his promo last week on SmackDown, the NFL punter mentioned how he misses the Attitude Era fans and the fans who used to say “if you smell…”, signature catchphrase related to The Rock. Many experts and pundits considered it a subtle hint drop by Pat that maybe the Brahma Bull is working in cahoots with them.

Hence, on the blue brand, the NFL punter could finally reveal that he is not the main character, and The Final Boss is the real mastermind behind all of this. It was his vision to save the wrestling business, hinting that he may be in Las Vegas for Mania. This would help boost ticket sales.

#2. Massive WWE stipulation added

Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton’s Undisputed WWE Championship match will headline WrestleMania Saturday, and their feud has reached a boiling point.

Two couldn’t breathe the same air, especially since McAfee entered the picture and vowed to end Rhodes to preserve wrestling, as according to him, the Prodigal Son has been leading the lucklaster product.

On Friday Night SmackDown, Pat, alongside Randy Orton, could appear and call General Manager Nick Aldis out to talk and told him that TKO’s higher-ups are directly in contact with them. And they have granted them their wish of adding a stipulation to the Undisputed WWE Championship match.

McAfee could then ask Aldis to add the loser leaves the company stipulation to match, enhancing the stakes for the bout. And also hyping fans for Night One’s main event even more. Where the losing superstar could quit the blue brand and jump ship to Monday Night RAW.

#1. McAfee may vow that he would cost another WWE Champion his match at Mania

On the Friday Night Show, McAfee could once again go berserk on the microphone, addressing World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk’s shots at him from the red brand.

The penultimate edition of the company’s flagship show saw the Best in the World kicking the RAW off with his Pipebomb promo, where he majorly targeted his title challenger and the 2026 Men’s Royal Rumble winner, Roman Reigns.

However, the Best in the World also took serious shots at The Rock, and also mentioned Vince McMahon before taking ultimate verbal swings at the color commentator for turning heel on Cody Rhodes and calling the current product trash.

The Second City Saint called McAfee “Pat MAGA-fee” and then addressed his actions on the Friday Night show and dropped a bomb by asking to call his agent, referring to Ari Emanuel, to lower ticket prices, and warn him that his wrestling receipt is on the way.

These remarks may not sit well with the NFL punter, who could vow he and Orton would preserve wrestling by eliminating champions like Cody Rhodes and CM Punk. And claim after beating The Prodigal Son on Saturday, they are free on Sunday to handle some business with The Second City Saint, hinting that they would even cost Punk his match against the Original Tribal Chief.

That said, the pointers suggested above are hypothetical, and nothing is confirmed as of now. It will be interesting to see what massive surprise Pat has in store for the fans ahead of the Show of Shows.
