Cole Custer’s bid to win back-to-back NASCAR Xfinity Series titles fell short but a 1-2 finish in consecutive years is impressive.

Custer won the regular season title in a season that would see Stewart-Haas Racing cease after the final NASCAR race.

Custer has one title and three runner-up finishes in his Xfinity Series career.

Custer made the most of his return to the Xfinity Series and his reward is another shot in the Cup Series in 2025.

WHAT WENT WRONG: Had eight finishes outside the top 15. Failed to finish four races.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN 2025: Custer moves to the Cup Series in 2025. He’ll drive for Haas Factory Team, the one-car Cup operation that came from Stewart-Haas Racing.
