The Week 6 college football schedule includes a rematch of last season’s national championship game, as No. 10 Michigan travels to Washington on Saturday night. Michigan has rattled off three consecutive wins since its blowout loss to Texas in Week 2, including a pair of 27-24 wins over USC and Minnesota. The Wolverines have yet to play a road game this season, and they are 2.5-point underdogs in the Week 6 college football odds. Washington has lost two of its last three games, so is the value on the defending national champions when it comes to Week 6 college football bets?

Other top teams going on the road this week include No. 9 Missouri (+2.5) at No. 25 Texas A&M, No. 1 Alabama (-23.5) at Vanderbilt, and No. 4 Tennessee (-13.5) at Arkansas. Saturday’s slate concludes with a matchup between California and No. 8 Miami (-10.5). Before locking in any Week 6 college football picks on those games or others, be sure to see the college football betting guide from legendary Vegas handicapper Bruce Marshall.

Top college football predictions for Week 6

One of the top college football picks Marshall is recommending for Week 6: He’s backing the red-hot Indiana Hoosiers to cover the 13.5-point spread against Northwestern in a 3:30 p.m. ET matchup. He is also taking the Over (41.5) in that matchup.

Indiana is back in the AP Top 25 for the first time since the opening week of the 2021 season, landing at No. 23 in the updated poll. The Hoosiers, who are led by first-year head coach Curt Cignetti, are 5-0 for the first time since 1967. They have won all five of their games by at least two touchdowns, including a 42-28 win over Maryland last week.

Senior quarterback Kurtis Rourke has completed 73.2% of his passes for 1,372 yards, 11 touchdowns and two interceptions while rushing for two more scores. He is facing a Northwestern defense that gave up 50 combined points in losses to Duke and Washington. Marshall points out that the Hoosiers have gone Over the total in four straight games, so he is taking Indiana and the Over on Saturday. See which other picks to make here.
