This week, on an episode of WWE Playback uploaded on the company’s YouTube channel, the duo reviewed Charlotte’s Royal Rumble win last year. The two friends even joked about The Queen pointing at the WrestleMania sign. Alexa mentioned that she never won the match and didn’t get the chance to do the WrestleMania point. Flair declared that she would help Bliss win the high-stakes matchup this year.
“You’ve never won the Rumble? I’m gonna help you win this year,” Charlotte claimed.
Alexa Bliss was in action on SmackDown
This past week on SmackDown, Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair were in a tag team Triple Threat match to determine the number one contenders for the Women’s Tag Team Championships.
Women’s United States Champion Giulia and her business associate Kiana James, and the team of Lash Legend and Nia Jax were also in the match. The match had its fair share of ups and downs, with all teams getting nearfalls.
However, Giulia and James got the last laugh amidst the chaos. Lash Legend hit Bliss mid-air and nailed her with a Lash Extension. Charlotte Flair took out Legend with a Spear, but Kiana James sneaked in and pinned Alexa Bliss for the win.
This sets up a future matchup between current Champions Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY against Giulia and Kiana James.
