Julián Alvarez has already scored a potential LaLiga goal of the season contender in Atlético Madrid’s 2025/26 opener against Espanyol.
The Argentinian forward assumed free-kick duty just before half time and unleashed an absolutely unstoppable strike into the top corner, giving Espanyol goalkeeper Dmitrović no chance.
It was a goal of the highest order and one which brought up Alvarez’s 50 goals/assists milestones in Europe’s top five leagues.
