Milan is now on the verge of closing the Luka Modrić deal.
According to reports from Fabrizio Romano and Matteo Moretto, in recent hours the Rossoneri have made decisive moves, reaching a preliminary agreement with the Croatian midfielder.
The agreement, which is currently only verbal, will be formalized in the coming days, respecting the player’s timeline. The deal is said to be a one-year contract worth 3.5 million euros plus bonuses, which could bring his salary to over 4 million net.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the Croatian will undergo medical examinations with the Rossoneri no earlier than Tuesday. Despite the Rossoneri’s desire to make the move official by this weekend, the player has expressed his wish to first finish training camp with his national team.
A dream that is about to become reality: seeing the 2018 Ballon d’Or winner in Serie A and, for Rossoneri fans, wearing the Milan shirt.
