Fluminense and Lanús face each other this Tuesday (23rd), at Maracanã, at 9:30 PM (Brasília time), in the second leg of the quarterfinals of the Conmebol Sudamericana Cup.

Since they lost the first leg 1-0, the Tricolor Carioca needs to win by two goals to qualify for the semifinals. If they win by just one goal, the spot will be decided by penalties.

However, before the first leg in Argentina, Lanús made a blunder by presenting a plaque to the Tricolor president, Mário Bittencourt, to celebrate the clash between the clubs in the continental tournament.

On the plaque, Fluminense’s crest was replaced by that of Independência Futebol Clube, from Acre, which competes in the 2025 Série D.
