Thomas Lemar will play for Girona next season. Atlético Madrid has reached an agreement with the Catalan club for the loan of the French player until June 2026. The midfielder, who has a contract with Atlético until 2027, will seek in Montilivi the minutes he has not had in recent campaigns.
The signing represents Girona’s first official reinforcement in this summer market. Lemar, 29, arrives with the backing of his experience in LaLiga and European competitions, although his performance has been marked by injuries.
