Pumas made a successful debut in the Leagues Cup group stage, as they secured an important win against Orlando City this Wednesday.
Although the university team started the game on the wrong foot, after a sudden goal against the goal guarded by Keylor Navas in the 5th minute, they were able to recover and add their first three points.
It was Adalberto Carrasquilla who became the hero, scoring the equalizing goal with 10 minutes left to play and thus taking everything to a penalty shootout.
There, the team led by EfraÃn Juárez defeated the MLS team 4-3, with only “Memote” MartÃnez missing his shot.
