Lionel Messi remains the biggest name to ever grace the playing surfaces across MLS, but Cincinnati star Evander continues to show why he may be the league’s best.

The Brazilian star man turned up with a huge moment once again across an already stellar 2025 season for his new club, this time, putting Cincy into a temporary 1-0 lead just after the half-hour mark.

Like he has done so many times before in MLS, Evander unleashed an unstoppable drive from just outside the box into the corner and beyond a helpless Luis CƔrdenas to set his club away on the night to register his 16th goal of the season.

Though Rayados battled back to level matters thanks to Sergio Canales in the dying minutes before the half-time interval, it was another moment where Evander has shown up under pressure as he continues to produce a campaign worthy of MVP consideration.
