Wolverhampton Wanderers are expected to reject any renewed approaches from Newcastle United for striker Jørgen Strand Larsen, according to a report by The Telegraph’s John Percy.
Despite Newcastle having already seen two bids turned down earlier this summer, Wolves remain firm in their stance that the Norwegian international is not for sale during this transfer window.
The decision comes at a pivotal time for Wolves, with just days remaining in the window.
The club’s hierarchy, including chairman Jeff Shi and owners Fosun, are under pressure from fans to hold their ground and show ambition as speculation around their top players continues.
Strand Larsen, who joined Wolves last season, has attracted strong interest after an impressive debut Premier League campaign but Wolves are determined to keep hold of one of their key assets as they aim to build stability under their current project.
